Barb
Holland, P.H.Ec.
Food Styling for Media Demos
Barb
Holland is a professional foodie (and a home economist
and food writer). Barb has done countless food styling gigs
for TV and live cooking demonstrations. Some of her clients
have been Debbie Fields (Mrs. Fields Cookies), Roch Voisine,
Anne Lindsay and James Barber (the Urban Peasant).
Prerequisites for the job include her all-wheel drive
Outback, books of street maps, countless colourful plates
and placemats, comfortable shoes and sense of humour, not
necessarily in that order.
Testimonials
"Barb
Holland is the one of the very best television food
stylists that I have worked with. I have complete confidence
that whatever she does will be well done. As well as making
the food look attractive, she is very efficient and doesn't
buy or bring more food or props than are needed."
Anne
Lindsay, cookbook author

Holland consistently delivers top-notch food styling for
media demos. I've had feedback from authors and producers
who are impressed by her professionalism and creativity. I
would highly recommend her services!"

"I
have had the pleasure of working with Barb Holland for
over three years. Barb has worked in many capacities for the
Dairy Farmers of Ontario including our food stylist of
choice for TV appearances. Barb has flair for food styling
that makes food look sinfully appetizing on TV. She pays
attention to detail and has a keen sense of what works 'on
air'. The icing on the cake is that Barb is easy to work
with, which makes her a true professional."
